Conserving Beauty

Senior Conservator from the Smithsonian, Sunae Park Evans will explain the process of conserving and preserving textiles and costume pieces, including the purses and gowns in the First Ladies exhibit at the National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C.  Afterward, view the exhibition Brilliant Partners:  Judith Leibers Handbags & the Art of Gerson Leiber in the Art Museum.  See a one-of-a-kind bag designed by Judith Leiber for former First Lady Mamie Eisenhower.
