A non-refundable deposit of $25 per class must be received within two weeks of booking in order to hold your reservation.
Payment must be made by check, payable to the Long Island Museum. Please do not bring cash.
We recommend that two chaperones accompany each class. Since our programs are based on “learning by doing,” chaperones will be asked to assist staff and participate actively. Chaperones pay a reduced fee of $2.
The museum does not have indoor dining facilities. Weather permitting, outdoor picnic tables are available.
The Kids’ Shop offers a wide variety of reasonably priced items related to our exhibits, available by advance order. Click here to access our offerings. Teachers should bring their order forms with them on the day of their visit; museum staff will have the items ready at the completion of the program. We regret that students may not shop on the day of their visit.
Please let us know if you plan to bill your visit through BOCES.
We welcome your group for a self-guided tour any Thursday or Friday, September through December and March through June between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Spend time in one of our or take time to visit all areas of the museum. $5 per student. Please schedule one chaperone for each 10 students.
