Then enjoy an outdoor performance (weather permitting) of Much Ado About Nothing by EastLine Theatre.  \n\n\n\nMuseum admission is free on Thursdays from 5 pm to 7 pm\, so feel free to explore all our galleries after the tour. \n\n\n\nThis program is free for all; no registration required.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the kick-off to our Summer Thursday Series\, offering fun\, free programming on select Thursday evenings this summer.  \n\n\n\nBring a picnic and celebrate the start of the season with a hilarious performance of Shakespeare’s witty romantic comedy about finding love against all odds.  \n\n\n\nAfter years of war\, an idyllic Italian town is finally back in bloom. But young lovers Claudio and Hero\, and sparring singletons Beatrice and Benedick\, soon discover that all is not as it seems in their beautiful surroundings as they become entangled in a series of mischievous games\, pranks\, and plots.  \n\n\n\nThis performance will take place outdoors on the Carriage Museum lawn. In the event of rain\, it will be moved indoors to the Gillespie Room. \n\n\n\nFree for everyone! No registration is required.  \n\n\n\nBefore the performance\, you are also invited to join our Art in the Garden Tour\, an educator-led program exploring LIM’s beautiful grounds and sculpture\, starting at 5:00 pm.  \n\n\n\n\n ABOUT EASTLINE THEATRE \n\n\n\n“ONE OF THE BOLDEST\, BRAVEST THEATRE COMPANIES ON LONG ISLAND\,” According to Fire Island News\, EastLine Theatre is a Long Island-based nonprofit that aims to create theatre in unlikely spaces while re-examining the canon\, exploring modern plays\, and bringing original works to the attention of the community. EastLine Theatre is a proud member of the Huntington Arts Council and the Alliance of Resident Theatres / New York.
