Afternoons @ LIM: Making Memories at the Movies

The Long Island Museum is happy to welcome Making Memories at the Movies, a program designed to creatively engage those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss and their care partners.

Friendships are at the heart of our lives – and at the heart of many wonderful movies! Enjoy clips from The Wizard of Oz, Oliver, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Blues Brothers and more! Recognizing that movies have the power to spark memories and create connections, this program presents an opportunity to engage in discussion while socializing with others.

The program takes place at the Long Island Museum.

Programs are offered at no charge.
