Arts and Alzheimer’s Conference | FREE

June 26 @ 9:30 am 3:00 pm

Join us for the 9th annual Arts & Alzheimer’s Conference! Discover the vast and enriching opportunities available for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss. The day is intended for those who work in healthcare facilities, professional & family care partners, as well as the staff of cultural organizations who are looking to find meaningful ways to further connect with those living with dementia through the arts.

This year, we’re delighted to once again be joined by incredible presenters who will share their insight:

  • Learn about Tilles Center’s Arts & Aging Programs and their collaboration with Dancing Classrooms
  • Watch a live performance of Dementia Man, An Existential Journey, followed by a discussion with creator and performer Samuel A. Simon.

The conference is offered at no cost due to generous anonymous funding. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

If you have questions or would like more information please call 631.751.0066 ext. 211 or email educators@longislandmuseum.org.
