HNY Reading & Discussion Program – Votes for Women!

The HNY Reading & Discussion program Votes for Women! at LIM will consist of 4 weekly in-person sessions held in March during Women’s History Month (March 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th).  Stony Brook University Professor, Dr. Susan Hinely, will be the facilitator and lead discussions based on the reading of two books: A Woman’s Crusade: Alice Paul and the Battle for the Ballot by Mary Walton and Sex Wars: A Novel of Gilded Age New York by Marge Piercy.

The discussions will be held in the Building the Ballot Box gallery located in the History Museum.
