Sunday Street- Celebrating Lou Reed & Paul Simmon

Sharing Long Island roots, Lou Reed graduated from Freeport High School in 1959, where he played guitar and sang in doo-wop groups, while Paul Simon graduated from Forest Hills High School in 1958 and initially recorded as “Tom and Jerry” with classmate Art Garfunkel. Join us we celebrate these two legendary songwriters and their illustrious careers.

Featuring performances by Gene Casey, Caroline Doctorow, Andrew, Andie Juliette, and Cole Fortier, Bryan Gallo, Ray Lambiase, Russ Seeger, and Hank Stone.

Tickets at the door, if available, will be $30 (cash only).

All performances will take place in the Carriage Museum’s Gillespie Room.
