The Long Island Museum welcomes all visitors and affirms its commitment to making its programs and services accessible to everyone. We offer a variety of programs and services to ensure the accessibility of the museum’s collections and exhibitions.

Guided Group Tours

The LIM offers guided group tours for a fee of $15 per person, with a minimum of 10 people in a group, plus 10% off at the gift shop.
Guided group tours can be booked during regular open hours or days the LIM is not open to the public.

Unguided Group Tours

The LIM offers unguided group visits for a discounted fee of $7 per person, plus 10% off at the gift shop. Unguided group visits can take place only during regular open hours.
A minimum of 10 people is needed and can be paid the same day at the Visitors Center.

In the Moment

In the Moment is a program of art engagement for people with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of memory loss.

School Groups

The Long Island Museum offers many interesting, entertaining and educational programs for school children. Over the past year, the museum’s school programs served over 12,000 school children from 59 school districts.
