In honor of the Long Island Museum’s 80th anniversary, we are wrapping another crocheted tree with artist Carol Hummel!

In 2015, the LIM wrapped 5 trees on museum grounds and this year we will be adding a colorful new addition along route 25A.  This community based project has once again brought dozens of volunteers to the museum and they have spent hours crocheting the individual pieces which will be put together and installed by Hummel and her team this fall.

Be part of this exciting public art project by making a donation today.  Your contribution will help to directly support the materials and installation costs of this unique and vibrant project.  The LIM is truly grateful to ABLE Equipment Rental for their donation of the lift needed to install the exhibition.

Help us bring even more color, creativity and culture to our community!
