An Afternoon with Maureen Corrigan and Gatsby

Join Maureen Corrigan, NPR’s Fresh Air book critic and author of So We Read On: How The Great Gatsby Came to Be and Why It Endures, for a fascinating look into the legacy and enduring impact of The Great Gatsby today. Visitors are encouraged to come early to explore LIM’s Gatsby at 100 exhibition.

More About Maureen
Maureen Corrigan, the award-winning book critic for NPR’s Fresh Air, is The Nicky and Jamie Grant Distinguished Professor of the Practice in Literary Criticism at Georgetown University. She is the author of a literary memoir, Leave Me Alone, I’m Reading  (Random House, 2005) and So We Read On: How The Great Gatsby Came To Be And Why It Endures (Little Brown, 2014). Among her recent projects are her work as author and presenter of are the 24-lecture Great Courses series, “Banned Books, Burned Books: Forbidden Literary Works (2023) and her book, The Mysterious Case of Agatha Christie (Audible Audiobook Original, 2021).
