People Who Need People: FREE Pop-Up Senior Resource Event

November 15 @ 11:00 am 1:00 pm

In honor of National Family Caregivers Month, join The Long Island Museum and The Bristal Lake Grove for People Who Need People–a FREE live concert and pop-up senior resource event–featuring the classic hits of Barbra Streisand as performed by Long Island’s own Mary Solitto, whose voice has been compared to Barbra, Celine, and Cher!

Don’t miss this very special event offering seniors, caregivers, and families a wonderful way to enjoy an afternoon relaxing to the timeless music of Barbra Streisand – while also having the opportunity to learn more about programs and services available for seniors and caregivers right here in the community.

Together with the Suffolk County Office for the Aging, Stony Brook’s Center for Excellence in Alzheimer’s Disease, and the Town of Brookhaven’s Senior Citizens Division, this special afternoon will share vital resources with attendees, offering a day of music, socializing, learning, and valuable connections!

Attendees will also enjoy free admission to LIM’s exhibitions and beautiful grounds for the day!
