The program will start with a talk in the Carriage Museum’s Gillespie Room, followed by an informal tour of the exhibition.

There will be time for questions and discussion at the end of the program.

About Dr. Ward Deutschman
Dr. Deutschman is a retired college administrator who spent 50 years as a “super user” of computers and their resources. He has watched the development of the Internet closely from its inception to the present. He was responsible for the 10-person programming staff of a very large IBM 360/65 installation in a college, and he led the development of the first full baccalaureate degree program to be offered by distance learning using computer and telecommunications tools. He developed a baccalaureate program in telecommunications management offered by a local university and continues to watch developments in the world of artificial intelligence (AI).
