Stop by during the Three Village Historical Society and Tri-Spy Tour’s 12th Annual Culper Spy Day, celebrating the rich Revolutionary heritage of our area.
Explore LIM’s The Seat of Action: Long Island in the American Revolution and Beyond exhibition and view a rare surviving letter dated November 8, 1779, between spymaster Benjamin Tallmadge (using his alias, John Bolton) and Robert (alias, Samuel Culper Jr.)Townsend. It is the only known surviving letter between the two.
Then explore our world-famous carriage collection, some with a special connection to Long Island’s Revolutionary War history.
