“Building the Ballot Box” Artist in the Gallery: David Bunn Martine

Visitors to the Building the Ballot Box exhibition have the unique opportunity to meet David Bunn Martine, an artist featured in the show. David will be in the gallery to discuss his art with visitors. His painting, “Shinnecock Ceremony, 18th Century,” is on view in the exhibition.

David is the Curator of the Shinnecock Nation Cultural Center and Museum on the Shinnecock Reservation in Southampton, NY. He serves as the Chairperson of American Indian Artists Inc. (AMERINDA) in New York City and has been a painter and sculptor for 30 years.
