Tattoo: The Human Canvas

Join Lyrin Bailey, Tattoo Artist & Illustrator of Gilded Fox Gallery, and Lauren LaBella, Tattoo Artist & Gallery Owner/Curator of The Pearl Tattoo & Fine Art Gallery, for an exploration of the history of tattooing on Long Island, modern-day tattoo culture, and some of the art movements that influence illustrative tattoos.

LOCATION

This program will take place in the Gillespie Room located in the LIM Carriage Museum. Visitors are encouraged to come early to explore The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Art Museum in the History Museum.

REGISTRATION

This event is free with museum admission, and registration is preferred. Walk-in spots will be available at the door based on availability.
