In honor of National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month and Family Caregivers Month,® The Long Island Museum is honored to serve as a showcase for the seventh annual Through Our Eyes exhibition. This year’s exhibition will feature works by participants in Day Haven’s Adult Day Services program. Photographic portraits and
artist statements will be presented beside each artwork to provide a richer context and a deeper connection with both the piece and artist.

TimeSlips stories created by Day Haven Ronkonkoma participants during visits to the museum galleries will be debuted. TimeSlips is a storytelling method that is based on shifting the emphasis from memory to imagination. Take a moment to reflect on these stories and artworks and view the world through these artists’ eyes.
