Summer Family Pop-Ups: A World Before Cars

Let’s get creative together this summer!
Join museum educators for a different spotlight gallery tour each date to spark your imagination. Then, participate in a hands-on activity or art project inspired by the exhibitions on view.
A Word Before Cars: Join an educator to learn about the history of transportation and the exciting vehicles in our Carriage Museum to understand why they were built and how they worked. Then, we will create an activity inspired by the horse-drawn vehicles in our art studio.
Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver 18 years or older.
REGISTRATION
Pre-registration is requested for this program; walk-in attendees may be admitted if space permits.
$15 per child member
$20 per child non-member
Accompanying adults – free
Participants can enjoy free admission to the museum. Please check in with our Education Staff for a museum pass.
