The results are in and this year’s juried art competition is sure to excite your animal instincts!  Animal Kingdom: From Tame to Wild includes 75 finalists, out of nearly 300 submitted for our 2017 juried art competition.  See works by amateur and professional artists from across Long Island (and a few from across the nation) working in all media and all styles, resulting in an exhibition of beautiful, exciting and thought-provoking imagery from the animal kingdom.

Join us on Friday, September 15 at 5:30 when we’ll announce the winners at an artists’ reception.  It’s open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

Can’t make it on September 15?  That’s OK…the show is open in the museum’s Visitors Center through October 22 and the winning entries will be displayed from October 27 through November 12 (location TBD).
