Music Program: The Troubadours

LIM is delighted to welcome The Troubadours, a dynamic choral group that shares the joy of music with audiences throughout Long Island. Hum along, tap your feet and enjoy a mix of musical favorites from Broadway, jazz and pop, all sung in beautiful harmony!

This program will take place in the Gillespie Room located in the Carriage Museum

These monthly sessions are open to individuals living with dementia and their care partners. They offer time for creative engagement and social connection in our galleries and art studio, as well as through special music and movie programs.

This November, explore LIM’s newest exhibition, Enduring Hearts: Native American Long Island, which celebrates the history and culture of Long Island’s Native American communities, through historical artifacts and contemporary art and craftwork. Join us in the Art Museum for this fascinating look in our regions Native American history and the contemporary artists keeping their cultures alive.

Mornings@LIM: Memory Disco – Home for the Holiays

These monthly sessions are open to individuals living with dementia and their care partners. They offer time for creative engagement and social connection in our galleries and art studio, as well as through special music and movie programs.

This December, Move and groove to holiday classics in this fun take on the popular silent disco trend! Each participant will receive a pair of headphones and be invited to dance along to holiday classics as we pass around festive props and spread some holiday cheer.
