Hours of Operation
The Museum is currently CLOSED for in-person visitations during our annual Winter Break. We will reopen on February 19, 2026 with new exhibitions!
While we are closed to the public, our Education Department continues to conduct daily onsite field trips, our Curatorial Department is hard at work on the spring exhibitions, and the entire Museum staff continues to work at the Museum Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Admission tickets can be purchased at the LIM Visitors Center located on the west side of Route 25A (across the street from the LIM Carriage Museum).

Museums for All
The Long Island Museum is proud to be participating with the Museums For All program through the Institute of Museum & Library Services (IMLS).
