Hours of Operation
The Museum is open:
- Thursday: 11:30 am to 7:00 pm*
- Friday–Sunday: Noon to 5:00 pm
Closed for public visitation Monday through Wednesday.
*Please note: After 5:00 pm on Thursdays, admission will be free and the Gift Shop will be closed.

Admission tickets can be purchased at the LIM Visitors Center located on the west side of Route 25A (across the street from the LIM Carriage Museum).

The Long Island Museum is proud to be an official food drive drop-off site for Agape Meals for Kids, a local non-profit providing food to children facing food insecurity. Help us make it a bountiful Thanksgiving!
Most Needed Items
- Full-size boxes of Cereal (Healthy options, such as Cheerios, are preferred.)
- Macaroni and Cheese
- Shelf-stable Milk
- Canned Soup (Chicken or vegetable. Please avoid cream-based soups.)
Please bring your donation to the LIM Visitors Center and receive one free museum admission.

The Long Island Museum is proud to be participating with the Museums For All program through the Institute of Museum & Library Services (IMLS).
